Dee started a second career as a registered massage therapist after seeing the benefits that her friends and colleagues gained from massage therapy. She was inspired by the wide range of massage therapy techniques that can support an individual’s wellness and recovery.

Dee graduated with distinction in 2020 from the Alberta College of Massage Therapy (ACMT) and became a registrant of the British Columbia College of Massage Therapists in 2021. Since becoming an RMT, she worked at a clinic in Calgary and at ACMT assisting instructors with teaching and curriculum development. Dee uses her workplace and recreational experiences to connect with the client and to provide a relaxing, restorative treatment that will engage the muscles and joints for optimal recovery.

Golden became a second home for Dee and her family in 2010. Walking her dogs, hiking, biking (road and mountain), skiing (downhill and XC) and golfing are a few of the recreational activities that she enjoys. Being with her family and friends while active, playing board games or just visiting is a “great day”, except when they trounce her at frisbee golf!
